We are a growing, ambitious accountancy practice seeking to appoint a Corporate Finance Manager to develop our corporate finance offering. \n This is a high-impact role in a lean business, working directly with the partners to: \n\n • Build a scalable corporate finance function\n, • Deliver high-quality advisory work across the full deal lifecycle\n, • Drive fee growth and originate new opportunities\n\n \n The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s future, with a clear route to leadership. \n Key Responsibilities \n 1. Deal Execution & Technical Delivery \n Manage corporate finance engagements across: \n\n • Business disposals (trade sales, exit planning)\n, • Acquisitions and buy-side advisory\n, • Management buyouts (MBOs) and Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs)\n, • Financial due diligence (vendor and buy-side)\n, • Business valuations and strategic option reviews\n, • Debt and equity fundraising\n\n \n Work will typically involve: \n\n • Financial modelling and valuation analysis\n, • Preparation of Information Memoranda and reports\n, • Managing data rooms and due diligence processes\n, • Liaising with clients, banks, lawyers, and other stakeholders\n, • Identifying key risks, value drivers, and deal adjustments\n\n \n 1. Client Management \n\n • Act as day-to-day lead adviser on transactions\n, • Build strong relationships with owner-managed businesses\n, • Translate technical analysis into clear commercial advice\n, • Manage client expectations, timelines, and deliverables\n\n \n 1. Business Development & Growth \n\n • Drive origination of new corporate finance work from: \n \n, • Existing client base\n, • Professional introducers (banks, lawyers, IFAs)\n \n, • Lead proposals, pitches, and networking activity\n, • Identify cross-selling opportunities with accounts, tax, and audit teams\n\n \n 1. Team Leadership & Development \n\n • Manage and mentor junior staff (analysts/managers)\n, • Review work outputs and maintain quality standards\n, • Provide technical coaching on: \n \n, • Deal structuring\n, • Financial analysis\n, • Report writing\n \n, • Support recruitment as the team grows\n\n \n 1.
