But our role goes beyond simply arranging finance. We guide customers through the full vehicle buying journey — helping them: • find suitable vehicles, • stay within affordable budgets, • avoid unsuitable dealerships or vehicles, • and access additional protection products that support safe and sustainable vehicle ownership. As we continue to grow, we are now launching a significant ancillary products growth strategy focused around: • mechanical warranties, • breakdown recovery, • servicing and maintenance products, • and broader customer protection solutions. This is a key strategic hire for the business. The Role We are looking for a commercially minded, customer-focused: 👉 Protection Products Growth & Customer Journey Manager to lead the introduction, integration and growth of our ancillary product offering across the customer journey. This role sits at the intersection of: • product commercialisation, • customer journey design, • sales enablement, • operational delivery, • customer outcomes, • and revenue growth. You will own the strategy and execution behind increasing ancillary product penetration in a way that: • improves customer outcomes, • feels natural within the sales journey, • supports affordability and payment stability, • and remains fully compliant and customer-focused. This is not a traditional “hard sell” insurance role. We are looking for someone who understands how to build trust-based customer journeys that improve both commercial performance and customer outcomes. Key Responsibilities Product Introduction & Growth • Lead rollout of warranty, breakdown and service care products, • Develop long-term ancillary product growth strategy, • Increase product penetration and revenue per funded deal, • Continuously optimise customer journey integration Customer Journey & Sales Process Design • Design and improve customer-facing sales journeys, • Build compliant, high-converting scripting and processes, • Ensure products are introduced naturally and appropriately, • Reduce customer friction and drop-off points Training & Coaching • Train and coach sales teams on protection product conversations, • Develop onboarding and refresher training, • Conduct call reviews and identify improvement opportunities, • Help agents position themselves as trusted guides, not salespeople Customer Outcomes & Compliance • Ensure all products are positioned fairly and transparently, • Embed vulnerable customer awareness into processes, • Support compliant selling practices, • Monitor complaints, cancellations and customer feedback Performance & Reporting • Track penetration rates and conversion performance, • Analyse customer behaviour and sales trends, • Monitor MI and commercial performance, • Work closely with senior leadership to scale the channel What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone with strong commercial instincts, excellent customer journey understanding, and the ability to influence and coach teams effectively. The ideal candidate will likely come from: • motor finance, • automotive F&I, • warranty / protection products, • specialist lending, • affinity insurance, • or customer-focused financial services environments.
