Key Responsibilities: • Plan, direct, and oversee passenger transport operations to ensure efficient, safe, and fully compliant service delivery in line with UK transport regulations., • Manage fleet acquisition, maintenance, and disposal strategies to optimise operational availability and meet environmental and safety standards., • Recruit, train, and supervise drivers, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements and maintaining exceptional service standards., • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction., • Monitor operational performance using data analysis and KPIs, preparing management reports to support strategic decision-making., • Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, conducting risk assessments and implementing safety improvement measures., • Oversee scheduling and dispatch systems to optimise fleet utilisation and meet customer demand., • Manage operational budgets and expenditure, ensuring cost-effectiveness and achieving financial targets. We’re a growing transport company looking for experienced and reliable van drivers for long-distance work across the UK. This is a self-employed role with consistent routes (no multi-drop), ideal for drivers who want steady work, fair pay, and a professional working environment. About the Role • Long-distance delivery work (no multi-drop), • Varied loads: pallets, boxes, solar panels, carpets, and more, • Monday to Friday, with optional 6-day weeks if you want extra shifts, • Working hours typically range from 8 to 12 hours per day, • Weekly pay (2 weeks in hand to begin with) Start dates available throughout August We work with both owner drivers and drivers who need a van provided. If you have your own van (LWB or Luton), you’ll need: • Courier insurance, • Goods in Transit insurance, • Public Liability insurance If you don’t have a van, we can provide a fully insured vehicle and fuel.
