In July 2026, in Sloane Square, Brasserie Olivia was born. This is just the beginning of our London story, and we'd love you to help write the next chapter. The role As a Bar Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the Bar Manager to run the day-to-day bar operation at Brasserie Olivia. You'll lead and support the bar team during busy services, making sure drinks are prepared quickly, consistently and to the highest standard. You'll support the Bar Manager with rotas, ordering, stock and waste, while helping train and develop the team. Our bar sits at the heart of the restaurant, so you'll also be present with our guests, bringing energy, personality and great hospitality. What success looks like • You'll help run and organise a bar where drinks are prepared quickly and consistently, even during the busiest services., • You'll ensure the bar is fully prepared for service, with stock, equipment and mise en place ready before the first guests arrive., • You'll maintain excellent standards across cocktails and drinks, making sure everything is consistent and beautifully presented., • You'll support the Bar Manager with rotas, ordering, stock management and waste control, helping the bar run efficiently., • You'll coach, train and support bartenders, helping build a confident, knowledgeable and high-performing team., • You'll support recruitment by coordinating trial shifts and identifying candidates who will strengthen the team., • You'll create a great guest experience, interacting naturally with guests and bringing positive energy to the restaurant., • You'll work closely with the floor and kitchen teams to keep service running smoothly throughout every shift. What you'll bring • You're already working as a Bar Assistant Manager, or you're an experienced Senior Bartender ready for the next step., • You have strong experience working in a high-volume restaurant or bar environment., • You have excellent cocktail knowledge and are confident in preparing all the classics quickly and consistently., • You have experience with the operational side of running a bar, including staff rotas, ordering, stock management and waste control., • You're confident leading a team, giving feedback and helping bartenders develop, • You're quick on your feet, stay calm under pressure and know how to keep things moving during a busy service., • You're positive, presentable and comfortable interacting with guests and creating a great atmosphere., • Good wine knowledge would be a plus. The groundworks and foundations have been completed, and the project is now moving into the next phase of works, including steelwork installation followed by block and beam flooring and superstructure works. We need someone practical and experienced who can take ownership of the site measurement, setting out, coordination and day-to-day management of this stage of the project. Key Responsibilities • Check and verify site measurements against structural and architectural drawings, • Set out and confirm positions, levels and dimensions for the steelwork, • Liaise with the structural engineer, steel fabricator, beam and block supplier, building control and contractors, • Identify and report any discrepancies between drawings and the actual site conditions, • Help coordinate and manage the next construction phase from steelwork through to floor installation and follow-on works, • Ensure works are carried out accurately, safely and in the correct sequence, • Oversee quality control on site, • Assist with programme planning and keeping the project moving, • Provide practical site-based solutions and recommendations where issues arise Requirements • Proven experience in residential construction projects, • Strong experience with setting out, site measurement and reading structural/architectural drawings, • Experience with steel frame / structural steelwork and beam and block flooring, • Ability to independently verify dimensions and levels on site, • Good communication and coordination skills, • Hands-on, proactive and commercially aware, • Own setting out equipment / access to surveying equipment is an advantage, • Ability to start quickly Ideal Candidate The ideal person will be someone who has worked on similar residential developments and is confident taking responsibility for: • checking dimensions on site, • managing the interface between the engineer, steel company and builders, • helping move the project forward without constant hand-holding

We’re a community-focused pub in Barnes, with a strong reputation for great food, drinks and service. Alongside our everyday pub trade, we host a wide range of events, from birthdays and private parties to weddings, celebrations and larger gatherings. We’re looking for someone who is confident leading a team, passionate about hospitality and understands what it takes to run a successful pub. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll play an important role in the day to day running of The Crossing. You’ll be a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable managing a busy Friday night, overseeing a private celebration or making sure the cellar is running perfectly. You’ll help ensure that our guests receive consistently excellent service while supporting the team and maintaining the high standards we expect across the pub.
