Location: Hertfordshire (office-based initially, with hybrid working once trained) Hours: Full-time or flexible part-time considered (pro rata) Doors of Steel is a fast-growing, national, design-led specialist in bespoke internal steel and glass doors and partitions, working on high-end residential and commercial projects across the UK. We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive Sales & Projects Coordinator to manage inbound enquiries, develop new business opportunities, and oversee projects from first enquiry through to installation. An interest in design and interiors, combined with a strong eye for detail, is essential due to the bespoke nature of our work. This is a varied, hands-on role offering genuine progression, with the opportunity to move into a management position as the business continues to grow. The Role You’ll manage the full sales and project lifecycle, including: Sales & Business Development • Managing inbound enquiries via phone, email, and CRM, • Proactively developing new opportunities with architects, interior designers, contractors, and developers, • Preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations, • Following up quotes and nurturing leads through to conversion, • Acting as the main point of contact once a sale is secured, • Coordinating with the CAD designer to ensure specifications align with client requirements, • Reviewing drawings, finishes, layouts, and specifications before submission, • Managing drawing approvals with clients, • Coordinating deliveries, logistics, and installation bookings About You You’ll ideally: • Have experience in sales, project coordination, or a similar role (experience in construction, interiors, glazing, or bespoke manufacturing is an advantage, but not essential), • Have a genuine interest in design, interiors, architecture, or bespoke products, • Be confident using IT systems and CRM software, • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Be highly organised, methodical, and detail-focused, • Be proactive, able to problem-solve independently, and take ownership of your work, • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, evolving environment Training & Support Full product, systems, and process training will be provided, with a structured handover and ongoing support to help you build confidence and succeed in the role.
