Shop Assistant / Driver Location: Cattedown, Plymouth Hours: Part-time 25hours a week 11.00am – 16.30 Salary: £12.30 per hour We are looking for a reliable and friendly Shop Assistant / Driver to join our team. This is a varied role combining customer service in-store with local driving duties, ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced working environment. Will be required to learn shop systems and processes. Key Responsibilities • Serving customers in the shop in a polite and professional manner, • Handling cash, card payments, and operating the till, • Receiving, unpacking, and stocking deliveries, • Maintaining a clean and organised shop environment, • Making local deliveries and collections as required, • Loading and unloading goods safely, • Ensuring company vehicles are kept clean and in good condition Requirements • Full UK driving licence (essential), • Good communication and customer service skills, • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, • Physically fit for manual handling tasks (carry up to 15kg), • Previous retail or driving experience is an advantage, but not essential What We Offer • Competitive pay, • Friendly and supportive working environment, • Training provided, • Opportunity for long-term employment, • Company Pension
