Senior Landscape Architect 📍 Truro, Cornwall | 💼 Full-time | 💷 £40,000 – £45,000 DOE We’re excited to be recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, multidisciplinary planning, architecture, and landscape design practice based in the heart of Cornwall. With a strong portfolio of diverse and award-winning projects, they are now seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join their talented and collaborative team. 🌿 About the Role As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will take a leading role in the delivery of high-quality landscape and visual impact assessments (LVIAs), alongside the development of innovative and context-sensitive design solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to take the next step in their career, contribute meaningfully to complex projects, and thrive within a supportive and forward-thinking practice. 🛠 Key Responsibilities • Lead the preparation of LVIAs, feasibility studies, and landscape assessments for a wide variety of developments., • Contribute creatively to the design and delivery of landscape proposals, masterplans, and planning applications., • Work collaboratively with planners, architects, and other team members across disciplines., • Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, presenting design proposals and advice., • Mentor junior team members and support their development., • Help to shape best practices and promote sustainability in design. ✅ What We’re Looking For • Minimum 5 years' experience in landscape architecture, including demonstrable expertise in LVIAs., • A degree in Landscape Architecture and CMLI (Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute) status, or working towards chartership., • Strong knowledge of relevant UK planning policies and environmental standards., • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to lead meetings and present work to clients and consultees., • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp; GIS experience is a bonus)., • A creative, proactive mindset and a genuine passion for thoughtful, impactful landscape design. 🎁 What’s on Offer • Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience), • Holidays: 22 days annual leave + bank holidays, • Benefits: Private medical insurance, • A welcoming and professional working environment, • Ongoing opportunities for career progression and professional development, • The chance to work in one of the most beautiful regions of the UK, contributing to projects that shape both urban and rural landscapes
