The purpose of HTW is to identify, appraise, promote, enable and measure the adoption of health technologies across NHS Wales, linking into national agendas for innovation and prudent healthcare. HTW appraise the effectiveness and cost effectiveness of non-medicine health technologies in Wales, working with, but independently, of NHS Wales. HTW is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Project Support Manager on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Support Manager to assist the development of medical technology guidance. This will involve monitoring projects on a day-to-day basis, supporting the key stages of our appraisal process and liaising with relevant stakeholder groups.This position is a perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their skills in a varied and interesting role.This is a hybrid working position which is predominantly home-based with the benefit of an office base in Cardiff. Working closely with the Project Manager and Senior Programme Manager, you’ll help keep projects running smoothly by maintaining accurate documentation, supporting key processes, and ensuring high‑quality information is available for reporting to Velindre University NHS Trust and Welsh Government.We’re looking for someone organised, detail‑focused, and confident managing multiple projects and priorities. Strong project management skills are essential, and experience of MS Project would be a real advantage.As the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries, you’ll provide professional, high level administrative support and play an active role in project planning and delivery.
