We specialise in offering the best possible facilities, care and exercise to our dog daycare and boarding clients and also in our cattery, Lily’s Luxury Retreat. This role requires someone to work a shift from 6:45 am to 1 pm therefore you must live locally to Chalfont Saint Giles and have your own transport. The important part of this role is that your circumstances allow for occasional weekend work if needed and for housesitting when the owners are away which is well remunerated. Due to the dynamics of this role there is room for leeway on the number of hours worked ,either less or more in order to find somebody who can fulfil the main needs of this role. Applicants need to display a confident, can do attitude with hands-on experience in handling and caring for groups of dogs and a keenness to work with cats as well. You will receive a full induction into the position and ongoing training, even so if you have no experience then this is not the job for you. You must be capable of working to a very high standard on your own and within a team, with excellent communication with your peers, clients and management. An essential requirement of this job is to be reliable and punctual at all times with the ability to work under pressure on occasion , outdoors in all weathers with a happy smile.😀 You must demonstrate experience working with dogs and/or cats in a professional environment. This could be another daycare, a kennels, a cattery, veterinary practice or similar. Simply owning your own dog and having an interest or a passion for animals is unfortunately not sufficient to be considered for this role.
