This is an excellent opportunity to join a nationwide business that invests heavily in its engineers, offers genuine career progression, and provides outstanding earning potential through paid travel and consistent overtime opportunities.If you're an experienced Forklift or Plant Engineer looking for greater autonomy, excellent benefits, and a company that values your expertise, we'd love to hear from you.What's in it for You?Paid door-to-door travelCompany van and fuel card (personal use included within reason)24 days holiday plus bank holidays (32 days total)Overtime paid at 1.5x rateOngoing manufacturer and technical trainingPension schemeAll travel expenses coveredExcellent opportunities for career progressionJoin a growing and established business with a strong reputation within the industryThe RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment across customer sites throughout your area.Key responsibilities include:Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faultsServicing and maintaining forklift trucks and associated equipmentAttending breakdowns and carrying out emergency repairsCompleting service and repair documentation accuratelyBuilding strong relationships with customers and providing excellent serviceWorking independently while maintaining communication with the wider engineering teamRepairing and maintaining engines, batteries, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsEnsuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standardWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience working within the Forklift, Plant or Material Handling industriesStrong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skillsExperience working with engines, batteries and mobile plant equipmentAbility to work independently in a field-based environmentEngineering qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent are advantageousFull UK Driving LicenceWhy Apply?This is more than just another engineering position.
