Job Description Title: Audit Manager Reporting Line: Reporting to Partner Location: Loughton, Essex (Hybrid & Agile Working Available) Salary: £65,000 - £72,000 per annum Role Summary A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Audit Manager to take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients and play a key leadership role within a professional audit and accountancy team. This position offers a blend of technical responsibility, client engagement, team leadership, and involvement in business development activities. Key Responsibilities • Manage a portfolio of audit and accountancy assignments, • Plan, oversee, and complete audit engagements, • Support Partners with client service delivery and job planning, • Allocate and manage staff across assignments, • Lead client meetings and maintain strong client relationships, • Liaise with client finance teams and internal departments, • Supervise and develop audit team members and trainees, • Monitor WIP and ensure timely billing, • Contribute to networking and business development initiatives, • ACA or ACCA qualified, with strong technical skills, • Solid audit experience across a range of industries, • Previous experience in a Mid-Tier Practice is essential, • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients, • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards, • Experience leading and developing audit teams, • Proficient in accounting software; knowledge of Sage, Xero, and CaseWare is advantageous, • Excellent communication and leadership skills, • Salary: £65,000 - £72,000 per annum, • Hybrid & agile working, • Clear career development and promotion opportunities, • £400 annual wellbeing allowance, • Paid birthday off, • Paid volunteering day, • Employer pension scheme with increased contributions over time, • Generous holiday allowance, increasing with service, • Involvement in social, charitable, and environmental initiatives
