Graduate Role Description & Qualifications This is a full-time, on-site role ideally located in Belfast, Northern Ireland (or remote) for a Finance Systems and Automation Graduate. The role involves providing expert guidance on transforming finance functions through process automation and data-driven solutions. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career who wants to build experience across finance, systems, consulting, automation, and data in a fast-growing environment. In this role, you’ll: • Support finance transformation and systems projects across client engagements, • Assist with requirements gathering, process mapping, and documenting solutions, • Help build reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights, • Support testing, go-live activities, and post-implementation improvements, • Contribute to identifying automation opportunities across finance processes, • Develop knowledge of enterprise platforms, including Workday, • Learn how AI and automation can be applied to improve finance operations This is a hands-on role with strong support, where you’ll be expected to learn quickly, contribute early, and build a solid foundation in consulting and systems. The role involves providing expert guidance on transforming finance functions through process automation and data-driven solutions. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build experience across finance, systems, consulting, automation, and data in a fast-growing environment. In this role, you’ll: • Support finance systems and automation initiatives across client projects, • Assist with requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution documentation, • Help build reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights, • Support testing, go-live activity, and post-implementation improvement, • Contribute to process improvement and automation opportunities, • Develop knowledge of enterprise platforms including Workday, • Work alongside experienced consultants and gain exposure to real client delivery from day one This is a hands-on role with genuine opportunity to learn quickly and build valuable consulting and systems experience. The role involves providing expert guidance on transforming finance functions through process automation and data-driven solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong grounding in finance, systems, reporting, automation, or process improvement who wants to work in a modern consulting environment and build specialist expertise over time. In this role, you’ll: • Support the delivery of finance systems and automation initiatives across client projects, • Assist with requirements gathering, process design, and solution development, • Support configuration, testing, implementation, and go-live activity, • Build and contribute to reporting, dashboards, and automation solutions, • Support data validation, reconciliation, and control processes, • Work with senior consultants, technical specialists, and client stakeholders, • Develop deeper expertise across enterprise systems including Workday This is a hands-on consulting role where you’ll be expected to think critically, solve problems, and contribute meaningfully to delivery. Consultant Qualifications We’re looking for someone with strong core capability, good judgement, and the ability to operate well in a fast-paced environment. You may be a strong fit if you have: • A background in finance, accounting, commercial analysis, systems, or transformation (minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant area), • Experience in finance systems, automation, reporting, process improvement, or finance change initiatives, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • The ability to turn business requirements into structured, practical solutions, • Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients and project teams, • Strong interest in using & developing AI tools to solve challenging client problems Any of the below are highly desirable: • Qualified or Part Qualified CIMA or ACA, • Exposure to finance systems or enterprise platforms (Such as Workday, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Xero), • Experience with reporting, analytics, or automation tools (Such as Alteryx, PowerBI, Workiva), • Consulting or project-based delivery experience (e.g. Big 4 or boutique consultancies), • An interest in building expertise in platforms such as Workday
