Job Title: Customs & Road Freight Supervisor Location: Redditch (Office-based) Salary: Up to £38,000 DOE Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30am – 8:00pm (1-hour lunch break) About the Role An opportunity has arisen to join a busy Irish operations team within an international logistics environment. This senior-level Customs & Road Freight Supervisor role will provide oversight and operational support across road freight export activities, with a strong focus on customs compliance and documentation accuracy. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth export operations into Ireland, supporting agents, customers, and internal teams in maintaining full customs compliance in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Road Freight & Export Operations • Manage and complete daily road freight export files, • Liaise with agents and suppliers to ensure timely movement of goods, • Ensure all files are accurately costed, invoiced, and maintained, • Support operational efficiency within the Irish export team Customs Compliance & Documentation • Ensure compliance with all relevant customs procedures and regulations, • Review customs documentation during customer onboarding, • Support correct application of TSS entries, IMMI’s, and full Northern Ireland declarations, • Assist in implementing procedural updates and changes across the team, • Monitor upcoming customs legislation and communicate potential impacts internally and externally Customer & Stakeholder Support • Provide guidance and support to customers regarding customs requirements, • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures aligned to customer needs, • Liaise with internal teams, agents, and suppliers as required Administration & Reporting • Maintain accurate records of shipments and customs documentation, • Support accurate costings and invoicing processes, • Undertake additional tasks as directed by management Requirements Experience • Strong knowledge of exports into Southern Ireland, • Solid understanding of TSS entries, IMMI’s, and full Northern Ireland customs declarations, • Previous experience in customs or freight forwarding environment (essential) Qualifications • Level 2 Customs Practice & Procedure Award, • Level 3 Certificate in Customs Compliance, • Level 4 Certificate in Advanced Customs Compliance or equivalent customs qualifications Skills • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, • Strong organisational and time-management skills, • Proactive problem-solving approach, • Confident communicator with a positive, team-focused attitude, • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
