    Garage Assistant / Car Valeter E4 – Chingford area | Full-time We are a busy performance vehicle garage in the E4 area and are looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join our team. The main part of the job will be valeting and cleaning cars every day, so you should take pride in keeping vehicles looking clean and presentable. There will also be general cleaning and tidying around the garage and helping out with day-to-day jobs. The job includes: • Valeting and cleaning cars, • Vacuuming and cleaning vehicle interiors, • Washing and preparing vehicles, • Keeping the workshop and garage clean and tidy, • Emptying bins and general cleaning, • Moving vehicles around the premises when required, • Helping the team with general jobs around the garage About you: • Reliable and punctual, • Hardworking and physically active, • Takes pride in doing a good job, • Comfortable working on your feet, • Able to work independently and as part of a team, • A full driving licence would be useful but is not essential, • Previous valeting or garage experience is an advantage, but full training can be provided We have a friendly, relaxed team, but we are also a busy garage, so we need someone who is prepared to work hard and keep up with the workload. This is a full-time position and we are looking for someone who wants a stable job and can become a valued member of the team. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs and servicing to a high standard. In this role, you will respond to breakdowns, accidents, and vehicle recovery requests, providing excellent customer service to drivers in stressful situations. Key Responsibilities • Respond promptly to recovery dispatches for breakdowns and accidents., • Safely load, secure, and transport various vehicles using flatbeds, spec-lifts, or heavy recovery vehicles., • Diagnose minor roadside faults where possible or safely recover the vehicle to a garage or compound., • Maintain clear communication with the dispatch team and customers., • Conduct daily walk-around checks on your recovery vehicle and maintain accurate logs.
