Requirements and skills Proven experience as auto mechanic Knowledge of what will fail a MoT test when inspecting a vehicle Excellent knowledge of mechanical components. Knowledge of Electrical and electronic components of vehicles an advantage. Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods Ability to handle various tools and equipment Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc. Good health condition.
