Who We Are Looking For • You should have recent experience of cooking for large numbers in a commercial setting., • You must have previously managed and motivated a catering team., • You'll have experience of providing food for people with special dietary requirements., • We'd like someone who is flexible, who can work alternate weekends., • An enhanced DBS check is required for this role. How You'll Make a Difference You'll be responsible for our residents' meal experience and running the nursing home's kitchen. Leading and supporting a team, you will: • Designing a varied menu that reflects our residents' tastes and supports their nutritional needs., • Ensuring mealtimes are always a high-quality experience., • Maintaining the highest food standards., • Supporting, training and directing the kitchen team, • Mentoring and motivating on quality, safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards., • Assisting the Home Manager in developing and managing the budgetary, human and material resources within the department.
