Role Overview Josh Hair and Beauty is seeking a talented, reliable, and versatile General Hairstylist to join our creative team on a commission-based agreement. This stylist should be confident in working independently across a range of services and have excellent customer service and technical skills. You will operate under a commission structure and work closely with our team to deliver an exceptional client experience in line with the brand’s standards of excellence. Key Responsibilities Hair Services Provide a full range of salon services including (but not limited to): • Silk presses, • Blow dries, • Haircuts (trims, shaping, precision cuts), • Colouring (tints, highlights, custom colour), • Texture releases, • Relaxers, • Treatments and conditioning, • Wig installs and maintenance (optional, depending on skillset), • Provide consultations and recommend suitable services and treatments, • Maintain accurate service timing and manage your daily schedule efficiently, • Follow proper sanitation and hygiene protocols before and after every service Client Experience • Welcome clients warmly and provide a high-quality, relaxing salon experience, • Ensure clients are signed in on Salon IQ (training provided if needed), • Offer aftercare advice and suggest retail products or packages, • Maintain a clean and organised workspace at all times Administrative & Booking • Manage your own appointments via Salon IQ (or with front desk assistance), • Confirm bookings and respond promptly to any client reschedules, • Keep track of your earnings (commission-based) Team Contribution • Attend monthly reviews with management for performance, feedback, and goal setting, • Support a collaborative and professional team environment, • Provide occasional input on promotions, packages, or service ideas Expectations • Punctuality and professionalism are non-negotiable, • Maintain a high level of client care, presentation, and brand alignment, • Be proactive in resolving client concerns and upholding salon reputation, • Take full ownership of your services, cleanliness, and time management, • Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and salon guidelines Required Skills & Qualities • Minimum 2 years of hands-on salon experience, • Strong skillset in both natural and chemically treated hair, • Confident in cutting, colouring, and heat styling, • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, • Ability to manage your own client base and contribute to team efforts, • A positive, professional, and client-first attitude

Responsibilities Initial Consultation & Site Survey: Visit clients with your manager to assess the site, discuss their needs and measure the area. You Discuss: Driveway type (block paving, tarmac, (resin), gravel, etc.), layout, drainage, edging and any special features with client/ manager.You’ll assist your manager to write a quote, plan and draw a design with ai tools. Site Preparation & Excavation: Most excavation will be done with a digger and collected by a grab lorry. (In most instances) Sub-Base Installation Edging & Kerbing Surface Installation Finishing Touches & Clean-Up: Final checks for level, drainage and finish. Clean-up of debris, leftover materials and tools. Optional extras if applicable: bollards, sealants and (planting). Residential Support Worker Role To support the learning, emotional and social needs of children/young people within the residential home. Residential Support Worker will be required to participate in recording, monitoring and evaluating individual child strategies/support. Duties This job description describes in general the normal duties which the post-holder will be expected to undertake. However, the job or duties described may vary or be amended from time to time without changing the level of responsibility associated with the post. Hours of Work Day Shift 8am to 8.30pm / Night Shift 8pm to 8.30am Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the educational, social, emotional and behavioural development of children/young people under the direction and guidance of Management and support., 2. To assist management to develop the house and its environment ensuring that the highest standards of care prevail for each individual child/young person, within the guidelines of the stated model of care., 3. Assist in the implementation of Personal Education Programmes for children/young people and help monitor their progress., 4. Assist in the implementation of Individual Care Plans for children/young people and help monitor their progress., 5. To provide and support the provision of primary care for each child/young person and help them develop healthy attachments., 6. While on rota in the house, under supervision of the house management, be responsible for the care of children/young people as delegated by the senior staff., 7. To participate in sleeping in duties as required., 8. To maintain and promote good relationships with other professionals, team members and management, other sections within Caridon, parents, other agencies and professionals., 9. Support, monitor and evaluate the children/young people’s emotional and behavioural difficulties and help develop their social skills., 10. To ensure that Health and Safety of the children/young people and the home is monitored in accordance with the relevant legal requirements and good practice., 11. To participate in staff training, which is mandatory training, and all other mandatory training., 12. To be available whilst on duty to participate in on going supervision with a member of the Management Team and through this supervision develop an understanding of the behaviour of the children/young people., 13. To develop specific pieces of work with children/young people as directed and supervised by the Registered Manager/Deputy Manager., 14. To ensure high standards of communication involving checking and completing daily records, message book, diary and any other documentation in accordance with our developing best practice., 15. To contribute to the children/young people’s development through a variety of means including play, excursions, and other social opportunities in an individual and group setting both inside the home and outside appropriate to children/young people’s needs.
