You'll be part of an established Product Development Team, gaining hands-on exposure to real manufacturing processes, materials and product lifecycles, not just designing on screen, but seeing your ideas come to life on the production floor. This role is paying circa £28,000 As a Product Design Engineer you will be responsible for: Collaborating with product design and engineering teams on product discovery Taking product designs from concept through to completion Managing and maintaining up-to-date CAD files, assemblies and technical drawings Creating technical documentation and assembly instructions Preparing Bills of Materials and full manufacturing packages Fault-finding and problem-solving design issues Improving assembly methods. Supporting continuous improvement across products and processes Qualifications and Experience required for this Product Design Engineer role: Degree Qualification in Product Design or a similar discipline A Graduate or someone with 1-2 year's product design experience Strong proficiency in SolidWorks. Experience using Adobe Creative Suite Good understanding of manufacturing processes including metal machining, injection moulding and aluminium extrusion Confident working with parts, assemblies and production documentation Numerate, computer literate and highly detail-focused Positive, proactive and forward-thinking mindset Strong time management and organisational skills Strong communication skills.
