You will assist in maintaining the external areas of the hotel and estate to the highest possible standard, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. The role involves supporting the maintenance and grounds teams with a variety of outdoor tasks across the property. Key Responsibilities: Maintain all external areas of the hotel, including paths, car parks, courtyards, gardens and guest approach routes. Carry out general maintenance tasks such as cleaning, pressure washing, painting and minor repairs. Ensure outdoor furniture, lighting, signage and equipment are clean, safe and in good working order. Assist with seasonal tasks such as gritting and snow clearance during winter. Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns promptly to the Estates Manager. Operate machinery and tools safely and in accordance with training and site policies. Maintain a professional and approachable manner when interacting with guests or colleagues. What’s in it for you?
