Sales & Client Support Analyst – Global Markets (Milan Desk Support | Multi-Asset Coverage | a minimum of 6-18 months of experience Location: London / Hybrid (with international desk coverage) Division: Global Markets | Sales & Client Support About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and detail-driven Analyst to join a fast-paced Global Markets environment, supporting the Milan Sales Desk while contributing to a truly international client support function. This is a high-exposure role at the heart of client transaction management, where you will gain end-to-end visibility of the trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes, with a strong focus on Fixed Income and Derivatives. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate processing, monitoring, and settlement of transactions, while supporting regulatory obligations and delivering a high-quality client experience across internal and external stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing Client & Sales Desk Support • Provide dedicated support to the Milan Sales Desk, ensuring accurate system booking and representation of Italian Global Markets transactions, • Build strong relationships with Sales teams across Milan, London, Dubai, and Paris to support business flow and client pipeline visibility, • Manage the full post-trade lifecycle from pre-matching through to final settlement (T+1 focus), • Ensure accuracy across confirmations, settlements, and reconciliations, • Support local regulatory reporting requirements for the Milan business, • Ensure adherence to internal controls, operational standards, and risk mitigation frameworks, • Work closely with Front Office, Sales, Operations, Risk, Compliance, IT, and other internal teams, • Act as a communication bridge between centralized operations (Paris) and front-line desks, • Gain exposure across Fixed Income, Equity Derivatives, GSF, Treasury, and Islamic Finance products, • Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to operational improvements, • Strengthen controls and reduce operational risk through proactive issue resolution, • Support continuous cross-training across asset classes within the team What We’re Looking For Essential Requirements • Fluent Italian speaker (essential – direct support for Milan Sales Desk), • Experience or strong interest in Fixed Income and Financial Markets operations, • Understanding of post-trade processes and trade lifecycle management, • Strong communication skills with ability to engage confidently across Front Office and Operations teams Core Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, • High attention to detail and control-oriented mindset, • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, • Strong interpersonal skills with confidence in stakeholder management, • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); familiarity with trade platforms is an advantage Personal Attributes • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working independently, • Collaborative mindset with a strong team orientation, • Resilient under pressure with strong time management skills, • Curious mindset with a desire to understand cross-asset products and processes, • Continuous improvement mindset – always looking for better ways of working Why Join Us This role offers the opportunity to: • Build deep expertise across multiple asset classes and markets, • Gain international exposure across key financial hubs (Milan, London, Paris, Dubai), • Work closely with Front Office Sales teams in a highly visible client support function, • Develop a full understanding of the trade lifecycle in a global investment banking environment, • Be part of a collaborative and high-performing Global Markets team
