As part of this growth, our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced CNC PROGRAMMER to join their production team. Reporting to: PRODUCTION MANAGER As CNC PROGRAMMER you will be responsible for the safe, accurate operation of the CNC Machinery to manufacture high-quality joinery components in accordance with approved production drawings, CNC programmes, technical specifications and company quality standards • Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures, • Manufacture components accurately from approved CNC programmes , production drawings and job documentation., • Ensure production follows the agreed manufacturing process, • Carry out routine machine inspections, cleaning and maintenance, • Communicate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success, • Monitor progress through the day, • Resolve production issues quickly and effectively, • Experience within bespoke joinery, cabinet making or furniture manufacturing, • Read Blueprints & manufacturing drawings, • Good understanding of woodworking machinery and production processes, • Replace cutters and tooling as required, ensuring correct tool management procedures are followed., • Confident and professional & good organization skills, • Effective communication skills, • Measure finished components to verify compliance with drawings & tolerance Location/Area LONDON Salary Competitive remuneration package #J-18808-Ljbffr

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious commercial professional looking to join a specialist contractor with a strong reputation and genuine opportunities for progression. • Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim valuations and applications for payment., • Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow., • Produce accurate cost value reconciliations (CVRs) on a monthly basis., • Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies., • Manage project variations, change control processes, and compensation events., • Prepare and agree final accounts with clients and main contractors., • Review and administer contracts including JCT forms and bespoke subcontract agreements., • Ensure contractual compliance and protect the company's commercial position., • Manage notices, extensions of time, loss and expense claims, and contractual correspondence where required., • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, main contractors, consultants, and supply chain partners., • Attend project meetings and provide commercial support to operational teams., • Work collaboratively with site teams to ensure commercial and operational objectives are aligned., • Present project performance updates and financial forecasts., • Provide strategic commercial input to support business planning and growth., • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry., • Experience working for a specialist subcontractor, ideally within carpentry, joinery, fit-out, interiors, or related trades., • Strong understanding of construction contracts, particularly JCT forms., • Excellent knowledge of valuations, variations, CVRs, subcontract management, and final accounts., • Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen., • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively., • Excellent negotiation and communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
