The Graduate Materials Engineer will be based at the Newport, Isle of Wight facility for the duration of the 1 year graduate programme, reporting to the BU Technical Support Manager with a day-to-day functional reporting line to the UK Site Manager. The role involves significant laboratory work, including the manufacture of test coupons and the completion of analytical testing to generate robust market data on epoxy adhesives and resins. The individual will work closely with colleagues across the Newport site to develop a strong understanding of the epoxy adhesives and resins business, its products, and underlying technologies. In addition, the role will provide technical support to sales teams, contributing to technical discussions on our products and undertaking occasional travel to customer sites as required.
