Learning Support Assistant Secondary SEN School, Havant ASAP start - Full-time contract - Temp to Perm Academics are recruiting on behalf of a secondary SEN School in Emsworth, Havant who are seeking a passionate and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join them on a full-time, term-time contract. This is a temp to perm contract so only suitable for someone looking for a permanent position. The school provides secondary education for pupils with an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) for Special Educational Needs which fall within the moderate learning difficulties range, plus some with more severe learning difficulties. This includes pupils with Speech and Language difficulties and, Social Communication Difficulties and Autism so they are looking for someone with experience of supporting young people with SEN, ideally within an SEN setting. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be required to support within the classroom, supporting pupils individually or in groups across the curriculum together with some playground supervision duties.
