The Role We are looking for an experienced Quality Management Consultant / Trainer with strong automotive and/or aerospace sector experience to deliver high‑quality training and consultancy services to our clients. This role combines technical expertise, client delivery, and training capability. You will deliver training from our Birmingham‑based training centre, virtually, and at client sites, while also supporting consultancy activities such as implementation support, audits, coaching, and gap analysis. The role requires flexibility in working hours and location, including travel to client sites. Key Responsibilities • Deliver high‑quality training (public, in‑house, face‑to‑face and virtual) covering:, • APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and other Core Tools, • IATF / Internal Auditor, • AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015, • Provide coaching and consultancy support to clients, including:, • Core Tool implementation, • New product introduction support, • 2nd‑party audits, gap analysis and improvement activity, • Design, develop and continuously improve training materials and programmes, • Adapt delivery style to meet different learning needs and client environments, • Build strong client relationships and support customer development activities, • Work collaboratively with colleagues as part of multi‑disciplinary improvement programmes, • Capture client feedback and insights to support continuous improvement and service development What We’re Looking For Essential • Proven experience delivering training and/or consultancy in:, • APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, IATF, Internal Auditing, • AS9100 and/or ISO 9001:2015, • Strong understanding of the process approach to auditing (automotive and/or aerospace), • Experience working within the automotive and/or aerospace sector, • Excellent communication and presentation skills, • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels within client organisations, • Commercial awareness with the ability to link improvement activity to business outcomes, • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Materials Science or equivalent), • Willingness to travel and adapt to client needs Desirable • Experience of ISO/IEC 27001 and/or TISAX, including implementation, auditing or advisory support, • Previous experience working within or alongside a certification body (e.g. as an auditor, technical expert or scheme manager), • Lead or 3rd‑party auditor experience (automotive and/or aerospace), • Defence sector experience, • Previous consulting or training experience within a large organisation or consultancy, • APQP / PPAP implementation experience within a large manufacturing environment, • Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement tools (e.g. 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, Problem Solving, A3), • Additional language skills Training and Development You’ll receive a structured induction and ongoing support to help you succeed in the role.
