This is a strategic leadership role partnering directly with the Divisional Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team to shape financial direction, maximise profitability, and support both organic growth and acquisition activity. You will take full ownership of the divisional financial control environment, ensuring robust systems, governance and reporting processes are in place, while delivering insightful commercial analysis to drive performance and inform key business decisions. The role also plays a critical part in leading forecasting and budgeting cycles, preparing detailed Board-level reporting, supporting new business initiatives, and overseeing acquisition due diligence and integration. Responsibilities of the Head of Finance Lead, develop, and manage the finance team, fostering a high performing culture and supporting professional growth across all finance roles. Act as Finance Business Partner to the Divisional Managing Director and Leadership Team by providing insightful financial guidance and fostering collaborative relationships across all levels of the business. Manage the financial control environment for the division by ensuring robust systems, processes, and procedures are in place to accurately capture all transactions and maintain strong oversight over business activities. Work alongside divisional management to maximise profitability through detailed commercial analysis, identification of risks and opportunities, and implementation of best practices throughout the division. Lead on acquisitions by identifying targets, conducting due diligence, managing legal documentation, and supporting seamless integration into existing operations. Analyse and interpret complex financial and statistical data to ensure senior management are fully informed of key issues affecting performance, risks, and emerging opportunities. Support new business ventures by providing thorough analysis and reporting that underpin sound decision-making for future growth. Organise and control forecasting and budgeting processes for the division to ensure planning and resource allocation aligned with organisational objectives. Prepare accurate comprehensive Monthly Board Reports with detailed commentary on divisional performance against KPIs, market trends, competitor activity, and contractual arrangements.
