LEGAL TECHNOLOGIST Newly created role for a qualified lawyer with a passion for innovation and technology. Working for this leading Scottish firm , you’ll be at the forefront of integrating emerging technologies including AI, automation, and smart legal tools into legal practice. Working closely with lawyers and business services teams across the business to enhance efficiency, drive adoption of AI and legal tech tools, and shape how the firm delivers legal services in a rapidly evolving market. Key Responsibilities • Technology Enablement: Identify, pilot, and implement emerging technologies (including generative AI, contract automation, and legal research tools) that can transform legal workflows and enhance client delivery., • Lawyer Training & Development: Design and deliver training to lawyers and business services teams on legal technology, AI literacy, and digital skills; ensure upskilling aligns with practice group needs and strategic goals., • Knowledge Development: Curate and maintain high-value knowledge resources (precedents, playbooks, legal tech toolkits) that reflect both legal expertise and technological capabilities., • Innovation Champion: Act as a key contact between fee earners, the Business Transformation function, and IT teams to align strategic tech initiatives with lawyer needs., • Thought Leadership: Monitor legal tech trends and contribute to internal updates, strategy briefs, and external publications where appropriate.
