Location: Robert Holme Hall , Scunthorpe Employment Type: Part Time (minimum 3 evenings a week) The Bar Staff are responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional service to club members and their guests. As part of a small team, you’ll ensure that the bar area is well-run, well-stocked, and offers a welcoming atmosphere consistent with the club’s standards . Bar Operations • Set up and close down the bar before and after service., • Ensure the bar area, glasses, and equipment are clean and well maintained., • Restock beverages, garnishes, and supplies as needed., • Work closely with other club staff to deliver seamless service., • Assist with events, private functions as required., • Previous experience working in a bar preferred but not essential., • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills., • Good knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and bar hygiene., • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented., • Friendly, approachable, and attentive to detail., • Team player with a flexible, can-do attitude.

Job Title: Grill Chef 🍔 Location: Scunthorpe Type: Full-time / Permanent Hours: Working evenings Tuesday-Saturday 4:00pm - close, Sunday 4:00pm - close (days off: Monday) — flexible options available About us: We’re a family-owned kebab and smash burger takeaway in Scunthorpe, known locally for our flavourful doner, quality burgers, friendly service, and consistency. We offer both collection and delivery, keeping high standards even during peak service with an emphasis on freshness, speed, and satisfying customer experience. Role Overview: We are looking for a competent Grill Chef with strong skills in slicing and serving doner, who can work well under pressure. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our kebabs and burgers are cooked and prepared to a superb standard, working in a fast-paced kitchen and maintaining consistency night after night. Key Responsibilities: Grill, cook and prepare meats, especially doner, to high quality standards. Carve / slice doner cleanly and accurately, with correct portion sizes and presentation. Operate smash burgers as required: grilling, assembly, bun prep, ensuring consistency. Maintain speed and efficiency during busy periods without compromising hygiene or food safety. Assist with prep tasks: trimming, seasoning, marinating meats, prepping burger patties, monitoring stock. Uphold strict cleanliness and food hygiene (kitchen workstation, tools, surfaces) at all times. Be a reliable member of the evening team, ensuring orders (collection & delivery) are fulfilled correctly and timely What We’re Looking For Proven experience working as a Grill Chef or similar in a takeaway / fast food / kebab shop environment. Strong doner slicing / cutting skills, portion control. Experience with burger grilling (smash burger preferred) will be an advantage. Comfortable working in a fast, busy kitchen during peak evening times. Excellent hygiene awareness and safe working practices. Reliable, punctual, good communicator, team player, with a strong work ethic.
