\n\n Accounts Payable Clerk - 11‑Month Contract (Maternity Cover) \n\n Location: Flintshire \nSalary: £16 per hour \nHours: 39 per week \nHybrid: 1 day WFH after several months \nStart date: Early April \n\n \n\n About the Role \n\n \nWe are recruiting an Accounts Payable Clerk for an 11‑month maternity cover to support the UK Accounts Payable function within a friendly, supportive, and fast‑paced finance team. You will work closely with two AP Clerks and the AP Supervisor to ensure the smooth running of all AP processes. \nThis role is ideal for someone experienced in high‑volume invoice processing and confident managing end‑to‑end accounts payable responsibilities. \n\n \nKey Responsibilities \n\n\n\t • Processing high‑volume supplier invoices (approx. 700-1,000 per month)\n\t, • Obtaining necessary managerial authorisations\n\t, • Preparing and completing payment runs\n\t, • Processing employee expense runs and supporting staff with queries\n\t, • Completing supplier statement reconciliations\n\t, • Posting bank payments and related accounting entries\n\t, • Using SAP Concur for expense processing (SAP experience beneficial but not essential)\n\t, • Maintaining accuracy across the UK Accounts Payable function\n\t, • Collaborating closely with AP colleagues and reporting into the AP Supervisor\n\t, • Contributing to a positive, productive team culture\n\n\n \nWorking Hours \n39 hours per week: \n\n\n\t • Mon-Thu: 8:15am - 5:00pm\n\t, • Fri: 8:15am - 4:00pm\n\t, • Previous Accounts Payable experience\n\t, • Comfortable with high‑volume invoice processing\n\t, • Strong attention to detail\n\t, • Team‑focused with good communication skills\n\t
