JOB – CNC Machinist LOCATION – Southampton TERM- Permanent SALARY - £30,000-£35,000, dependent on experience My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for an CNC Machinist to join their team in Southampton on a permanent basis. The CNC Machinist will ideally have the following attributes: • Previous experience working as a CNC Operator / Machinist / Setter, • Ideally have some experience with or knowledge of programming, • Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing, • Have experience machining and manufacturing precision parts and components, • Be able to read from engineering drawings, • Have previous experience working in a similar Machine Shop environment, • Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team The CNC Machinist role will involve: • Working with CNC machinery and producing plastics, • Running multiple machines – small to medium batch work, • Inspecting components as required, • CNC Milling or Turning working with varied controls, • Reading from engineering drawings, • Adhering to company H&S requirements If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.

ROLE – Graduate Mechanical Engineer LOCATION – Southampton TERM - Permanent SALARY- £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience My client designs and manufactures bespoke products for a number of industries. They are looking to take on a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Southampton on a permanent basis. The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar, • Experience working with machinery or other heavy equipment, • Eager to work in a hands-on and varied Engineering role, • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials – sheet metal, plastics, injection moulding, machining etc, • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, • Proficient using MS Office, • Excellent organisational skills and time management skills, • Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team, • A background in Manufacture would be beneficial, • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, • Team player, • Eager to train and develop their career in Engineering/Manufacture The Graduate Mechanical Engineer role will involve: • Mechanical assembly of a variety of products and equipment, • Working with CNC machinery, • Opportunities to train in different areas of Engineering and progress up into Design or Management, • Being involved in the design and development of new products, • CNC Milling or Turning working with varied controls, • Reading from engineering drawings, • Adhering to company H&S requirements, • Working to procedures and instructions, • Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
