Are you an organised and detail‑focused HR Administrator looking for your next opportunity? Join a supportive and collaborative HR team where you’ll play a key role in the day‑to‑day running of HR operations. This is a full‑time temporary position for an initial four months, with the potential to extend or become permanent for the right candidate. You’ll be part of a close‑knit team, reporting directly to the HR Manager, with a standard level of support and guidance provided throughout the assignment. The salary for this role is £28,000 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role is office‑based, working Monday to Friday on a 37.5‑hour week, with flexible working hours of either 8:00am – 4:00pm or 9:00am – 5:00pm (7.5‑hour shifts). Key Responsibilities: • Provide administrative support across the full HR function, • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, • Assist with recruitment activity, including interview coordination, • Prepare HR documentation and correspondence, • Respond to HR‑related queries from employees and managers, • Support compliance with HR policies and procedures Essential Skills & Attributes: • Previous experience in an HR Administrator or HR Assistant role, • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail, • Confident communicator with a professional and approachable manner, • Able to handle confidential information with discretion, • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, • Proactive, positive, and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment The Successful Candidate Will Have Experience In (Preferred, But Not Essential): • 1+ years in a HR, administrative, or office‑based role, • Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office, • Supporting employee lifecycle processes Working for First Recruitment as a temporary worker is a great opportunity to experience a variety of workplaces across different industries, whilst offering flexible working hours.
