Production Team Leader About the Organisation A global defence technology organisation delivering advanced maritime and underwater systems to allied navies worldwide. Its specialist solutions support surface, sub-surface, and unmanned platforms, helping customers maintain operational advantage in an evolving maritime environment. The Role Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Team Leader will supervise a production section, managing people, materials, and processes to meet daily output, quality, cost, and safety targets. Key Responsibilities • Lead production activities from material receipt through assembly, test, and delivery, • Supervise and support Production Operators, including hands-on assembly and testing when required, • Ensure work is completed to defined procedures, standards, and quality requirements (IPC-A-610), • Monitor performance against KPIs and drive continuous improvement, • Manage non-conformances, material shortages, and supplier returns using the ERP system, • Lead daily team (Tier 1) meetings and escalate issues as required, • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, ESD, and FOD requirements, • Train, coach, and develop team members, • Deputise for the Production Manager when needed About You • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (essential), • Previous team leadership or supervisory experience (preferred), • Confident using ERP systems and Microsoft Office, • Strong communicator with a methodical, detail-focused approach, • Able to work under pressure and prioritise effectively Benefits • Optional 9-day fortnight, • Flexible working hours and TOIL, • Early Friday finish, • Annual bonus, • 25 days holiday plus Christmas shutdown, • Pension, life assurance, and salary sacrifice benefits, • Retail discounts platform Additional Information • Relocation support may be available, • Role requires eligibility for security clearance, • Equal opportunities employer
