Morson Edge are currently seeking a GEF Mechanic with experience as a Qualified Assessor on a permanent basis to be based at RAF Coningsby. The Contractor Personnel provided must be able to undertake the following activities in accordance with direction from the GEF Controller: • Undertake the maintenance and RoTE of EUROJET UK MOD owned AGE in accordance with Typhoon tV for the equipment; Should the activities be completed you will be directed by RAF management to conduct maintenance and RoTE of EUROFIGHTER UK Owned AGE in accordance with Typhoon tV equipment., • Undertake additional activities including, but not limited to, RAF base open days and training., • Work towards achieving 1st Signature Boarding within 4 weeks of arrival and 2nd Signature Boarding within 12 weeks under the MMO via the airbase PE., • Proven experience of mechanical tradesman output (minimum 3 years), • Essential proven relevant management experience of a maintenance team (Supervisor) (minimum 3 years), including demonstrable knowledge and awareness of PUWER., • Desirable (but not essential) previous experience of using the UK Military JAMES system.
