As a Night Support Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children and young people to feel safe, settled and cared for throughout the night. Working in one of our small, homely residential houses, you will provide calm, consistent support during the quieter hours. Our children live as part of the local community and attend our purpose-built school nearby, with a strong focus on structure, stability and positive outcomes. What your day could look like You will provide reassurance, emotional support and a steady presence overnight, helping children feel secure and supported. Your role will include: • Supporting children to settle at bedtime and responding to any night-time needs, • Providing reassurance and comfort during periods of anxiety or distress, • Monitoring wellbeing and ensuring a safe, secure environment, • Accurately recording observations and key information from your shift About you You will be calm, patient and able to respond confidently to a range of situations during the night. You will understand the importance of providing reassurance and maintaining a consistent, supportive environment. Ideally, you will hold an HNC in Social Care and SVQ Level 3, with some experience in care or education, however we will consider candidates with the right values and willingness to learn. A full driving licence is essential.
