Complex Care Support Worker / Carer\n\nCompany: Health Now Complex Care\nLocation: Isle of Wight, Basingstoke, Frimley, New Forest, Southampton\nJob Type: Full-time / Part-time / Bank\nShift Length: 6–12 hour shifts (Days & Nights)\n\nAbout Health Now Complex Care\n\nHealth Now Complex Care provides specialist, person-centred care for children and young people with complex physical and mental health needs within their own homes and community settings. Our aim is to support individuals to live safely, comfortably and with dignity while promoting independence wherever possible.\n\nWe are currently recruiting experienced Complex Care Support Workers / Carers to support children and young people across multiple care packages within:\n\nIsle of Wight\n\nBasingstoke\n\nFrimley\n\nNew Forest\n\nSouthampton\n\nRole Overview\n\nAs a Complex Care Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to children with complex health needs within their homes and community environments. You will work closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to deliver care in line with individual care plans.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDeliver person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans\n\nSupport children and young people with complex physical and/or mental health needs\n\nAssist with daily living activities, personal care and mobility\n\nSupport emotional wellbeing and behavioural needs\n\nSafely manage and monitor clinical interventions where required\n\nMaintain accurate care records and documentation\n\nWork collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals\n\nClinical Skills & Experience (Desirable)\n\nExperience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:\n\nPEG feeding\n\nTracheostomy care\n\nLearning Disabilities (LD)\n\nAutism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)\n\nChallenging behaviours\n\nComplex physical health needs\n\nMental health support\n\nEssential Requirements\n\nPrevious home-based or community care experience\n\nExperience supporting children and young people\n\nCAMHS and/or Paediatric experience\n\nExperience supporting individuals with mental health and/or complex physical health needs\n\nFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)\n\nStrong communication and safeguarding awareness\n\nShift Patterns\n\nShifts typically 6–12 hours\n\nDay and night shifts available\n\nRotas dependent on service user needs and individual care packages\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nCompetitive rates of pay\n\nFlexible shift patterns\n\nOngoing training and professional development\n\nSupportive clinical and management team\n\nOpportunity to work within specialist complex care packages
