Explore Learning is looking for a full‑time Maths and English Tutor to support learners aged 4–16 across the national curriculum, entrance exams and GCSE preparation. • Deliver tailored lessons using the smart learning tool Compass, facilitating learning through questioning, scaffolding and stretching., • Build meaningful, trusting relationships with learners in a 1:6 tutor‑to‑learner ratio, creating a safe and inspiring environment., • Drive academic progress, celebrating milestones and ensuring learners stay on track for curriculum success., • Implement positive behaviour management strategies and prioritise student safety and wellbeing., • Act as a coach and mentor, supporting each learner’s progress with care and purpose., • Age 16 or over with the right to work in the UK., • Achieved a grade 6 or above in Maths and English at GCSE level, or predicted grades expected within 3 months., • Comfortable teaching children aged 4–16, including 11+ entrance exams and GCSE content., • Committed to building long‑term relationships with learners. Permanent part‑time position: minimum of 6 hours per week, across at least two different weekdays. Possible shift times: • Tuesday 3:30‑4:00pm, • Wednesday 3:30‑4:00pm, • Thursday 3:30‑4:00pm, • Friday morning/afternoon, • Saturday (anytime) This role is not summer‑only and will support members throughout the academic year and beyond.
