Mobile Vehicle Technician providing servicing, maintenance and repair, via prebooked appointments, at customers home address or place of work. This is a new and specialist division for the number one national breakdown company in the UK, with over 15 million members. Must have right to work in the UK status. Location:Walsall Pay / salary:£40,170 (inclusive of LWA) OTE: In Excess of £57,000 Job type:Permanent / Full time role • Home based, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm with 1 Saturday per month. When working the Saturday, you will receive a day off in that week. Any overtime past 5pm or an additional Saturday, is paid at time and a half (£30ph) 1 day of overtime per month = £3,000 additional per year; 2 days of overtime per month = £5,000 additional per year, completely optional - more flexibility, more reward. • Overtime - flexible and optional overtime, earn up to £5000 per year., • Bonus scheme - based on productivity and quality, earn up to £6000 per year., • 31 days rising to 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)., • Up to 6.5% matched pension contributions., • Life Insurance cover up to 4x your salary., • Access to a broad range of career progression opportunities and industry leading training, • Colleague share scheme., • Car salary sacrifice scheme- includes electric vehicle options after 12 months., • Wellbeing support24/7., • Free breakdown cover for your household., • Servicing and repairing vehicles (including EVs) customer selected location e.g. driveway, office car park., • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections., • Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues., • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues., • Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations., • Payment handling through card transactions., • Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques., • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used., • Must have a minimum of Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair or ideally Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, orequivalent), • Must have a minimum 2-year post-qualification hands on experience with vehicles. Either in a workshop or mobile vehicle type role., • The ability to work independently, make decisions on the go, and follow procedures., • A customer-focused approach, • Must have a full UK driving licence - max 6 points, no bans #J-18808-Ljbffr
