You must be a registered Nurse, with an active PIN You will provide care within a nursing home setting, where you will assess patients to help promote, maintain and or recover health and quality of life. The main duties will include assessing patients, providing care before or after medical operations, taking patient samples, temperature and blood pressure readings.
You will have basic nursing skills will have or be working towards the Care Certificate; as well as have mandatory training. You will be observing, monitoring and recording patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight; including carrying out personal care including infection prevention and control, food, personal hygiene and overall reassurance, comfort and safety of the patients. You must have good communication skills, and be able to communicate with patients, relative and carers.
