Technician / Teaching Instructor (Agriculture) Permanent, Full-Time £26,588 - £31,169 per annum (under review) An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Department of Agriculture, Horticulture and Engineering sciences. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fulfil a combined role of research technician and agricultural instructor. The role will be embedded within a strong team and will provide technical support to research activities and agricultural instruction within SRUC Education. The post holder will play an important and exciting role in supporting current and future project activity as well as developing the practical skills of students. The post will be based near Edinburgh at the Beef and Sheep Research Centre (BSRC), within the Department of Agriculture, Horticulture and Engineering Sciences. The post will form part of a team of three technicians based at the BSRC and will support research across ruminant production systems. This role will also deliver practical instruction to agriculture students alongside the education team based at the Kings Buildings Edinburgh Campus.
