🌟 Position: Senior Project Controls Manager 📍 Location: Suffolk / London / Hybrid ( 1 day a week or 2 a fortnight) 💼 Type: Full-Time 📅 Start Date: Immediate 💰 Salary: Competitive + Benefits About the Opportunity CMR is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Controls Manager to support the delivery of one of the UK's largest and most complex infrastructure programmes. This is a unique opportunity to join a major capital delivery project that will play a significant role in the UK's future infrastructure and energy landscape. Working within a highly regulated environment, you will provide project controls leadership across a multi-billion-pound programme, supporting key stakeholders in delivering critical project outcomes. You will be responsible for driving the integration of planning, cost, risk, change and reporting functions, ensuring robust governance, accurate performance measurement and effective decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. The role offers exposure to complex programme challenges, senior stakeholder engagement and the opportunity to influence the successful delivery of a nationally significant project from a project controls perspective. Key responsibilities will include: • Leading the project controls function across major project or programme areas., • Establishing and maintaining integrated project controls processes, procedures and governance., • Providing strategic insight and interpretation of performance data to support senior leadership decision-making., • Managing and maintaining Performance Measurement Baselines (PMB) and performance reporting frameworks., • Driving effective project performance management through robust KPI monitoring and analysis., • Ensuring alignment and integration between planning, cost, risk, change, reporting and assurance activities., • Leading project controls teams and coordinating delivery across multiple stakeholders and supply chain partners., • Supporting programme governance through the provision of accurate, timely and insightful reporting., • Driving continuous improvement in project controls systems, tools and methodologies., • Providing assurance of project controls data quality and compliance with programme standards and requirements., • Building trusted relationships with client teams, delivery partners and senior stakeholders. 🔹 About You Essential • Significant experience in Senior Project Controls Manager, Programme Controls Manager or equivalent leadership roles., • Proven experience supporting the delivery of large-scale infrastructure, energy, nuclear, transportation or major construction programmes., • Strong understanding of integrated project controls, including planning, cost management, risk management, change control, reporting and performance measurement., • Experience establishing and managing project controls governance, systems and reporting frameworks., • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels., • Experience leading multidisciplinary project controls teams., • Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights., • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills., • Experience facilitating workshops and driving collaborative problem-solving across diverse stakeholder groups., • Strong understanding of project controls systems and digital tools. Desirable • Experience working within regulated or highly governed environments., • Experience supporting major energy or nuclear programmes., • Professional Project Management qualification (APM, PMI, PRINCE2 or equivalent)., • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline. 🔹 Why Join CMR?
