What you’ll be doing as a Construction Assurance & Integration Engineer • Supporting essential design and delivery reviews, identifying risks and issues, and working with stakeholders to resolve them., • Conduct health and safety audits to ensure relevant issues are addressed., • We are focused on the construction phase of Water & Wastewater projects, assessing and reporting on project progress, addressing issues, and taking the lead on the escalation process if necessary., • Ensuring that all non-conformances are identified throughout the pre-construction/construction phase and corrected., • Managing, identifying, and resolving snags and liaising with Operators and contractors after the takeover to handle defects, the aftercare process, and performance testing., • Monitor, agreed on, and approved takeover tests with the project team., • Ensure that the required project documentation meets our specifications and that the information for taking over is approved., • Have an HNC or above in an appropriate engineering subject or background in a similar role., • Knowledge of health and safety on construction sites, or an SMSTS qualification, can be offered as part of the role if the holder does not currently hold it., • Understand design, construction, and operations across industries, including the Water & Wastewater sector., • Have a background in project delivery and integration within the construction sector, with on-site experience desirable., • Understand Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 with a working understanding of the duty holders’ responsibilities., • Competitive salary from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience., • Car allowance of £4,500 per annum., • 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service.
