Senior Commercial Manager (PR/007198) Location: Yeovil Role Type: Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite Salary: £70,000 – £85,000 + 10% bonus + excellent benefits The Opportunity We’re supporting a leading, innovation-driven organisation operating across complex, high-value projects to recruit a Senior Commercial Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping commercial strategy, leading contract negotiations, and supporting major bids within a dynamic and collaborative environment. This position offers exposure to large-scale, technically complex programmes and the chance to work with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally. The Role As Senior Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of commercial and contractual activities across a portfolio of projects. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust commercial governance, manage risk, and drive successful business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Include • Leading commercial input into bids and proposals for large, complex opportunities, • Negotiating contracts and contract amendments with customers, partners, and suppliers, • Developing and implementing negotiation strategies aligned with business objectives, • Identifying, managing, and mitigating commercial risks and liabilities, • Supporting project teams with commercial guidance throughout the lifecycle, • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and contractual frameworks, • Mentoring and supporting junior team members where required About You You’ll be a commercially astute professional with a strong background in contract management and negotiation within complex environments.
