Project Designer Hospitality Commercial Fit-Out Company Remote Role Location Bristol, Gloucester, Bath, Swindon, Oxford, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Worcester, Hereford Package £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + up to 12% company performance related bonus + Pension + 25 Days Holiday + Laptop and High- The Opportunity Our highly regarded client is seeking a Project Designer to manage hospitality, commercial kitchen, and catering projects from initial client brief through to technical design and project delivery. This role combines client-facing project ownership with AutoCAD design and technical coordination. The Role Manage projects from initial client brief through to quotation, design, and installation support Conduct client meetings and site surveys, developing practical and commercially viable design solutions Produce AutoCAD layouts, elevations, equipment schedules, and technical drawing packages Design commercial kitchens, serveries, and hospitality environments Prepare equipment specifications and support project quotations Liaise with clients, suppliers, estimating teams, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle Assist with M&E coordination and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards The Applicant Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, Product Design, Spatial Design, or a related discipline Minimum 1 year's AutoCAD design experience within commercial kitchens, catering equipment, foodservice, hospitality fit-out, or related sectors Experience dealing directly with clients, taking project briefs, presenting designs, and managing projects through the design process Strong technical drawing, space planning, and communication skills Experience with 2D/3D design software would be advantageous Knowledge of commercial kitchen workflows, M&E coordination, and equipment specification is essential, experience int he construction industry would also be considered JBRP1_UKTJ

Hardware Design Engineer - Job Specification Role Overview This role is responsible for the design, development, and continuous improvement of electronic hardware products. You will work across the full product lifecycle-from concept through to production-ensuring robust, high-quality and manufacturable solutions. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including firmware, product, and technical support to resolve issues and deliver reliable products to market. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and evaluate electronic hardware assemblies and systems. Produce and review electronic schematics and PCB layouts. Support new product development as well as enhancements to existing designs. Perform board bring-up, testing, and debugging of hardware. Conduct EMC testing and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure efficient production. Create and maintain technical and production documentation (e.g., schematics, BOMs, manuals). Review and contribute to hardware design specifications and technical documents. Investigate and resolve hardware design faults and defects. Log, track, and manage issues through defect tracking systems. Collaborate with firmware, product engineering, and support teams to troubleshoot customer issues. Replicate field issues and support root cause analysis activities. Assist in building and configuring test and compliance fixtures. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Skills & Experience Required Essential Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years' experience in electronic hardware design. Strong expertise in schematic capture and PCB layout design. Hands-on experience with hardware debugging and fault finding. Experience with EMC testing and compliance standards. Ability to review and produce technical documentation. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Desirable Experience with electronic security or similar embedded products. Familiarity with Altium Designer, ORCAD or similar CAD tools. Broader knowledge of electronic and mechanical design principles. Experience using issue tracking tools such as JIRA.
