The Finance Team also defines UCAS' financial strategy. About the role 35.00 To ensure UCAS provides a healthy and safe environment, and that it complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation and regulations. Key Accountabilities:* • Provide professional health, safety, and environmental support and advice across all business areas, with a particular focus on the Estates and Events teams, ensuring a health and safety culture, • Develop and maintain systems, policies, procedures and processes for the management of health and safety risks, and environmental impacts in the workplace to ensure the adherence to all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and agreed internal standards., • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions., • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and implementing preventative measures.
