Introduction As a Project Manager within the Cooling Technologies Division, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of large-scale industrial cooling projects from initiation to completion. Your role will focus on managing major industrial installations that require comprehensive cooling solutions for food manufacturing facilities, data centres, distribution centres, and other industrial environments. The Industrial Cooling Division delivers high-value, large-scale refrigeration projects across a wide range of industrial sectors. We specialize in advanced systems using natural refrigerants such as Ammonia (NH₃) and CO₂, making this an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with strong technical and commercial acumen. In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of Industrial refrigeration projects. From concept and design through to commissioning and handover, ensuring the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of bespoke cooling solutions. This position demands strong project management skills, deep technical knowledge in industrial cooling technologies, and the ability to effectively coordinate complex, high-value projects while communicating and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Delivery • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans aligned with client requirements and industrial best practice., • Work together with the Service managers to support the delivery of service projects works., • Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones for large-scale refrigeration projects., • Coordinate extensive project resources, including specialized personnel, heavy equipment, and significant material volumes required, • Monitor progress on complex, multi-phase projects, track critical milestones, and take necessary actions to mitigate risks and address issues in large-scale environments, • Champion safe working practices across all project phases. Team Leadership & Collaboration • Lead multidisciplinary project teams, fostering strong collaboration between engineering, design, installation, and commissioning functions., • Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure seamless integration with internal teams., • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and accountability., • Conduct regular coordination meetings for multi-disciplinary teams working on major industrial installations Commercial & Financial Management • Monitor financial performance throughout the project lifecycle, controlling costs and identifying opportunities for efficiencies., • Work closely with commercial and finance teams to ensure timely invoicing, reporting, and contractual compliance., • Manage significant project budgets and collaborate with finance teams on high-value industrial contracts Quality, Safety & Compliance • Uphold rigorous quality standards and ensure all deliverables meet regulatory and client specifications., • Drive adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly around ammonia and CO₂ refrigeration systems. Client Engagement & Relationship Management • Act as the key point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and providing regular, transparent updates., • Manage client expectations effectively, resolving challenges and ensuring satisfaction throughout delivery., • Support business growth by identifying opportunities for repeat business and future industrial projects. Requirements • Degree in Engineering or related discipline (advanced qualification desirable)., • Proven track record managing large-scale industrial refrigeration projects, ideally with exposure to ammonia and/or large scale CO₂ systems., • In-depth knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, and industrial cooling technologies., • Strong project management skills, with experience in planning, risk management, resource allocation, and financial control., • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities., • Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools., • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to industrial refrigeration.

Due to team expansion and winning new projects, we are seeking an Industrial Design Engineer with a background in Ammonia, CO2 Systems, Industrial Cooling Technologies &/or Industrial Refrigeration to support business requirements and oversee key projects. This is a remote working role with occasional attendance at the Leicester office will be required as will site visits and site surveys. Job Purpose To design and propose industrial and commercial project to customer and legislative specific requirements. To create a design from an initial brief and/or drawing to specific customer specifications, whilst adhering to the latest company and industry standards. Principal Responsibilities: Service: • Carry out site surveys where required, • Generate and update enquiry bank, • Attend customer scoping and design meetings where required, • Produce initial outline design/scope, • Produce Design File (electronic or hard copy) in line with ISO 9001 standard, • Produce detailed design, consisting of but not limited to: Cold room heat load calculation, cabinet heat load calculations, produce engineering sheets and pipework isometric drawings, equipment selections and pipe work sizing, • Produce supplier/sub-contractor enquiries for quotations, • Produce data for Design of Contracts project handover including: Equipment/supplier/sub-contractor procurement schedule, identify PED category of system and inform compliance team if CAT 4, calculate system refrigerant charge, produce high level program of works and high level phasing if required, • Raise Contract Approval Form to enable project to be booked on system, • Order any long lead time items to ensure project meets program, • Mark up drawings and issue to CAD department to produce, • Attend site at least once during project installation period, to carry out design review, • Assist PM with project shutdowns, • Maintain excellent service levels at all times, ensuring a “first Class” service to all customers, • Take on projects as and when required and see them through to successful completion Financial: • Produce estimates in line with customer budgets and to agreed company margins, • Produce formal scope of works and formal quotations, • Assist CM with project variation design and costs, • All contracts over £500k to have contract/design review with senior member of staff, • To prepare quotations (once the design is complete) to meet both the customer budgetary demands and the company’s target margins., • To identify means of generating extra revenue through new initiatives (forward thinking) People: • One to one session with line manager once a quarter, • To treat other colleagues, managers, customers and other stakeholders equally and with courtesy and respect at all times, • Where possible - to assist others with tasks that may be outside of the scope of your role, • To assist with coaching other colleagues/managers, for cross training purposed in your area of expertise Compliance: • Ensure that all relevant company and legislative policies and best practices are adhered to and maintained at all times, • Inform the relevant Manager of non-conformances and ensure that corrective action is taken, • Ensure compliance with all procedures throughout within your remit, • Produce Design File (electronic or hard copy) in line with ISO 9001 standard, • To ensure Refrigeration industry codes and standards are upheld, • To comply with environmental policies and putting forward new ideas for improving environmental efficiencies., • Adhere to Group H&S procedures with due regard for business constraints and efficiency Person Specification: • Ability to be customer focused, • Ability to demonstrate a high level of financial awareness, • Ability to adhere to design standards, • Ability to adhere to company vision and values, • Have excellent team working skills and ability to use own initiative, • Be able to work to stringent deadlines, • Willingness to share knowledge and best practice models, • Willingness to develop own skills and experience through learning interventions, • Have a flexible approach to work, • Be able to communicate to the highest level, • Be able to adapt positively to change, • Ability to strive to meet objectives, • Ability to work within a diverse and fast paced environment, • Have knowledge of Microsoft packages and in house systems (if required), • A background in industrial / commercial environments would be advantageous., • Full, clean, UK driving license
