Customer Services Adviser Grade 4, £26,403 up to £29,540 per annum pro rata (actual salary £21,407.83 up to £23,951.35 per annum) 30 hours per week, part time, permanent contract An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Customer Services Adviser. We require a candidate who is committed to providing excellent customer service. You will be friendly and diplomatic with good communication skills and enjoy working with the public. As part of a dedicated team, working in a highly pressurised environment, as a Customer Services Adviser, you will ensure the delivery of a first-class and professional front-line service by telephone, face to face, web chat and email, as and when required.. As a first point of contact, you will manage calls and handle a variety of requests, including complex enquiries about council services, such as benefits, Council Tax, refuse and recycling. The majority of calls and enquiries with be completed from end-to-end without the need for handing over to back-offices. Previous experience within a fast-paced call centre or similar telephony-based environment is essential. You will also be an excellent communicator, have accurate IT skills and be educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
