Job Title: Commercial Litigation Solicitor (2+ PQE) Location: Liverpool (Hybrid Working) Salary: DOE I’m currently working with a well-regarded commercial law firm in Liverpool that is looking to strengthen its Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution team with the addition of a talented solicitor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a partner-led team that handles a wide range of high-quality, complex disputes, acting for a strong client base including owner-managed businesses, corporates, directors, shareholders and investors. The firm has built a strong reputation in the Liverpool market and offers a genuinely supportive environment, with clear progression opportunities for ambitious individuals. The Role You’ll be joining a busy disputes team, working closely with experienced partners while also having the autonomy to manage your own caseload. The work is varied and commercially focused, including: • Contractual disputes, • Shareholder/director disputes, • Professional negligence, • Debt recovery, • Property litigation (including landlord & tenant disputes), • Contentious probate, • Insolvency-related matters Key Responsibilities • Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision, • Drafting pleadings, applications and pre-action correspondence, • Advising clients on strategy, risk and commercial outcomes, • Handling disclosure, witness and expert evidence, • Attending hearings, mediations and settlement discussions, • Supporting on larger, more complex matters, • Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development About You • Qualified Solicitor with 2+ PQE in Commercial Litigation/Dispute Resolution, • Strong working knowledge of the CPR and litigation process, • Confident managing files and dealing directly with clients, • Commercially aware with strong communication and drafting skills, • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise effectively What’s on Offer • Competitive salary with flexibility for more senior hires, • Hybrid working (typically 4 days office / 1 day from home) - can be negotiated for more senior candidates, • Clear progression opportunities within a growing team, • High-quality work and strong client exposure, • Very tight knit team, family feel etc. Very supportive and collaborative
