Popular restaurant near Newquay are looking for a new Head Chef to take the reins of their vibrant venue. My client are looking for a hands-on and commercially minded Head Chef to lead and inspire the kitchen brigade, while raising standards and creating a culture of quality, accountability, and pride. This is a key leadership role with full responsibility for food operations, including: • Developing and delivering menus that are seasonal, local, and on-brand, • Leading and motivating the team to maintain high standards of food quality and service, • Driving food safety, hygiene, and health & safety compliance, • Managing kitchen financials – GP, stock, labour, and wastage, • Training, mentoring, and developing the kitchen team, • Working closely with the General Manager and senior team to achieve operational goals About You • You’ll be an experienced, professional Head Chef (or a strong Sous looking to step up) with a proven track record in high-volume, quality-focused kitchens.
