An established and growing planning consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior to Associate Town Planner to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded planner ideally with some retail town planning experience or an interest in retail town planning to take a leading role in retail-focused projects as well as a variety of other projects in residential, commercial, education and city centre. Retail planning expertise is central to this position. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality retail planning advice across a range of instructions, including: • Preparation of development plan evidence base documents for both public and private sector clients, • Retail needs assessments, • Retail impact assessments This role offers flexibility in level, depending on experience, and would suit either a retail-focused Senior Planner or a more experienced planner seeking to concentrate more heavily on retail planning work.
