The below job description will outline this position of: Military Tender & Sales Coordinator Typically, this person will work in a busy Sales Support team, plus alongside the Managing Director. You will be confident across all commercial aspects of the business and be able to manage workloads and coordinate effectively, encompassing various aspects of the business. Strong communication skills are vital and the ability to build working relationships with military organisations by phone and email will form an important part of the role. Duties and responsibilities of the Military Tender & Sales Coordinator • You will be: Responsible for finding and coordinating the process of preparing, submitting and overseeing tender bids. Ensuring proposals are submitted in a timely manner meeting deadlines, keeping details records of all tender submissions including status updates, prices and feedback, • Capturing all new business opportunities by reviewing and analysing tender documents online, • Providing excellent communication skills acting as a liaison between internal departments preparing competitive pricing, technical documents, logistical processes and product certifications, • As part of the internal Sales Team, build a sales relationship with the customers across all sectors to ensure a central point of contact with these customers, • Using a central computer system to process daily sales orders and quotations within a timely manner, ensuring quotations are followed up to maximise conversion rate and remain competitive, • To gain an understanding of the Service and Hire Department to provide support where necessary, • Processing customer warranties, • Answer price enquiries, general enquiries and resolve complaints where necessary alongside day-to-day admin duties, • Develop an in-depth knowledge of products and market segments to help meet customer needs, make recommendations and enhance customer satisfaction, • Offering sales, technical support and high-level customer service to an international customer and service station base via phone, email or face to face, • Outbound sales phone calls to low spend customers to stimulate sales activity and discuss new products, • Admin tasks to support the Operations, Service, and Finance department, • Providing reception cover where applicable, acting as the first point of call for walk-in customers Qualifications and requirements for the Military Tender & Sales Coordinator • Ability to driver is desirable, • Passport holder - as some travel may be required This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical Ltd who have been appointed to act as a recruitment partner for this role
