Graduate Sales Development Representative (SDR) — SaaS & AI Location: SW Greater London (Hybrid) — (2/3 days per week) Salary: £35,000 + uncapped commission (1st year OTE £50,000–£70,000) Reports to: Head of Sales / Commercial Director Start date: ASAP (2024/2025/2026 Graduates) About the Company Our client is a fast-growing SaaS + AI consultancy helping enterprise organisations modernise how they operate using AI-enabled platforms, workflow automation, and data-driven optimisation. They work with well-known enterprise SaaS ecosystems across areas like HR, service delivery, workflow orchestration, analytics, and automation, supporting customers through: • Platform transformation and rollout programmes, • AI and automation use-case discovery, • Process redesign and change adoption, • Ongoing optimisation and value realisation What You’ll Be Selling (in plain English) You’ll help open doors into mid-market and enterprise accounts for conversations around: • AI-enabled workflow automation (reducing manual work, speeding up decisions), • Operational transformation using SaaS platforms (streamlining processes end-to-end), • AI adoption in the enterprise (use cases, readiness, value cases, governance), • Modernisation programmes that combine people + process + platform The Opportunity This is an ideal entry point into consultative B2B sales for a commercially driven graduate who enjoys speaking with people, building relationships, and creating opportunities. As a Graduate SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective customers. You’ll research accounts, run multi-channel outreach (phone/email/LinkedIn), qualify interest, and book meetings. You’ll learn how enterprise buying works (multiple stakeholders, longer cycles), how to run structured discovery, and how to create pipeline in a high-growth environment—with a clear route into Business Development / Account Executive roles. Key Responsibilities • Build pipeline through outbound prospecting across target accounts (calls, email, LinkedIn, events), • Research organisations and stakeholders: map decision-makers, priorities, initiatives, budgets, and “trigger events” (e.g., transformation programmes, AI adoption drives, platform changes), • Write tailored outreach that resonates with senior business + IT stakeholders (COO, CIO, CHRO, Transformation, Ops, IT, Data leaders), • Run first conversations: qualify pain points, current tooling, AI/automation maturity, timelines, stakeholders, and next steps, • Book and confirm high-quality meetings for Account Executives / Sales Leads, • Manage inbound enquiries: fast response, qualification, and routing, • Keep CRM accurate (activity, notes, stages, next actions, contact/account data hygiene), • Collaborate with Marketing on messaging, campaigns, lead lists, and experimentation (what’s landing vs what isn’t), • Track performance against activity and pipeline targets—iterate quickly and build repeatable habits Skills and Experience Required • Degree educated (any discipline — Business, Economics, Psychology, STEM, Geography, etc.), • Strong interest in a commercial career (sales, partnerships, account management, growth), • Confident communicator with a professional tone (written + verbal), • Resilient and comfortable with high-volume outreach and rejection, • Organised and consistent—able to manage follow-ups and daily activity targets, • Curious mindset: enjoys asking good questions and learning fast (especially around AI + SaaS value propositions), • Internship/placement/part-time experience in sales, customer success, consulting, recruitment, • Interest in ERP, AI, automation, workflow platforms, digital transformation, enterprise SaaS, • Familiarity with sales tools: Sales Navigator, HubSpot/Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, Gong, etc., • Comfortable talking about outcomes like ROI, efficiency, time saved, adoption, and change (you’ll be trained on this) What’s on Offer • A structured graduate route into enterprise consultative SaaS + AI sales, • Training and coaching from experienced sales leaders, • Clear progression into Business Development / Account Executive roles, • Hybrid working travel to SW Greater London as needed (2/3 days per week), • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission How to Apply This position is aimed at 2024/2025/2026 graduates.
